Atakan

Ruzen Atakan (born 1966) is a Turkish-Cypriot painter and educator. She was born in 1966 in Akıncılar and is the daughter of schoolteacher Kemal Atakan. She graduated from Gazi University in Turkey in 1988.

Atakan has held three solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group and mixed exhibitions both in Cyprus and internationally. She currently teaches at the Fine Arts Secondary School in Nicosia, Cyprus.
